Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)

Animal-Assisted Therapy is a complementary therapeutic approach that incorporates animals into sessions to support emotional well-being, enhance social and cognitive functioning, and promote positive feelings.

Oliver, a large Labrador Retriever, is present in most sessions and available to participate in therapy. He was specifically chosen for this work and will turn Four in March 2025.

While he is still refining his therapeutic skills, he is doing exceptionally well.

If you have an aversion to dogs and would like to explore this in therapy, feel free to reach out.

However, if you have allergies to dogs or other animals, I recommend finding a therapist better suited to your needs.
