Work Related Stress & Anxiety

Everyone needs to work in some capacity and so when we are signed off sick with emotional or psychological problems, this can often add to the difficulty in feeling well, despite the break from the workplace being the best option.

Many people are signed off work for reasons involving stress, anxiety and depression whether the issues are caused by the work place or not.

​

In therapy we explore what has happened, what is going on and aims to reduce negative feeling so as to get you back into the workplace or a new workplace again.

Of course stress can cause mental health difficulties but in many cases, people are managing so much and so well that it is often overlooked that actually, the person is not feeling very happy despite the feeling that they perhaps should be.

Other times people recognise that they are stressed and simply don't know what to do about it.

 

Counselling and Psychotherapy can help gain balance, reduce anxiety or low mood and increase coping skills.
